The research vessel of the night Lukas died

The FS Vindel is the research vessel Lena Voss worked on eight years ago, together with Lukas Ahrens, whom she had been living with for six years. The captain was Kai Sörensen. It was on the Vindel, one night, that Lukas died. Since then, Lena and Kai haven’t exchanged a word. The prologue of Book 1 bears the ship’s name and tells that night from Lukas’s point of view. What happened that night, and why, the series unfolds book by book.
