In short

This website doesn’t set cookies, doesn’t use tracking, analytics tools, or advertising, and doesn’t embed content from third-party providers. Fonts and images are hosted on the site’s own server. There is no contact form and no user account.

Hosting and server logs

The website is hosted on a server operated by Hetzner Online GmbH (Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany) in a data center in the European Union.

When you open a page, the server processes technically necessary data: IP address, date and time, the address requested, the amount of data transferred, the previously visited page, and the browser identifier. This serves the secure operation of the website (Art. 6(1)(f) DSGVO, the EU General Data Protection Regulation, or GDPR). The logs are rotated daily and automatically deleted after about two weeks.

Encryption

The connection to the website is encrypted with TLS (certificate from Let's Encrypt).

Links to other websites

Links to Amazon and other websites are only followed when you click them. From then on, the privacy policy of the respective provider applies.

Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and objection (Art. 15 to 21 DSGVO/GDPR). You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, for example the State Commissioner for Data Protection of Lower Saxony (Die Landesbeauftragte für den Datenschutz Niedersachsen).
