Lena’s Red Notebook
Lena’s notebook for measurements, written by hand
Aboard the FS Nordmark, Lena Voss writes in a red notebook. One Sunday evening, beneath the day’s measurements, there is a line in it that has no business being there: a wheatear resting on the cable duct. Alongside it, she keeps a spiral notebook for things that would look like facts too soon if she wrote them down digitally.
